Each piece aligns with a star map of various zodiac signs and asterisms. Find your favorites here. 

Dimensions vary with the largest measuring around 6 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. Each piece features multiple pin backs for secure wearing. 

 

Specific Gravity offers unique items that are designed and fabricated by artists working in the studios of Brooklyn Metal Works or are part of our larger community, meeting our criteria of originality and quality of craft. Please keep in mind that each piece is individually made in a studio setting and features subtle variations in detail and finish from items photographed on our website.

Update

Specific Gravity has resumed production on serial items and can process orders for most pieces as well as those that are currently in stock.  There is still some delay due to COVID-19 restrictions. Amelia Toelke

Amelia Toelke’s diverse art practice draws on her training in jewelry and metalsmithing yet transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. A combination of sculpture, collage, and installation, Amelia’s work lies at the intersection of the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional, and challenges given conceptions of object, image, reality, and representation. Toelke currently lives in Chatham, New York.
