Dan-yell
"Softened geometric forms allow me to merge classic, modern, and ancient design elements. I conceive design as a continuum that keeps on going, exploring, and changing over time. Tear shapes and palindromes are ever present. My work aims to be delicate with a sort of strength that allows the jewelry to be part of your everyday life."
Danyell Rascoe (dan-yell) grew up collecting rocks and gemstones, always intrigued by their subtle hues and textural forms. Now, Rascoe spotlights this natural beauty in delicate, minimal jewelry designs. Her collection, dan-yell, also draws inspiration from traditional Indian jewelry, bringing these time-honored shapes into the contemporary.
Rascoe is a Resident Artist at Brooklyn Metal Works and is based in Brooklyn, NY.
