Refund policy

Exchanges or Store Credit

Purchases made after December 1st will have a return window up to January 18th.

If you are dissatisfied with any item that you purchased or would like to exchange it, you may return it to Specific Gravity for store credit only under the following conditions.

Our policy extends for 15 days for in store and online purchases. If this time has gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Return requests may be made at our store location, or by contacting us at shop@specificgravitynyc.com.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Any item exchanged for goods of lesser value than the original purchase will result in a store credit. 

Any item exchanged for another item or purchased with the store credit from an approved exchange is final sale.

Sale or discounted items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Custom orders

All custom orders facilitated by Specific Gravity are final sale. This policy also applies to any jewelry that is altered or changed by request.

Online cancellations

Online orders that need to be canceled are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Shipping fees

Return shipping costs to Specific Gravity are the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping charges for subsequent exchanges are also the responsibility of the buyer and will be deducted from any credits received following a successful return.
