Eve Singer

Heavily textured bronze is the basis for Eve Singer’s jewelry and object creations. Singer, a practicing textile designer, sees the world through the lens of pattern – a quality that clearly translates into her work at Specific Gravity. The art and architecture around NYC is a constant source of inspiration as Singer interprets the structures and surfaces of the city with her modern statement pieces.

Singer received her BFA in Textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design and specializes in designing woven upholstery at the industrial scale. The act of designing woven structures and working with patterns in a commercial practice informs the work Singer engages in as a jeweler, as she returns to themes of repetition and rhythm in the artist’s cast pieces. Singer has been a member at Brooklyn Metal Works for over a decade and is based in NYC.
