The pizza necklace originated from a family ghost story from the artist's childhood. One night, a pizza delivery man knocked on the door. After confirming that no one had ordered a pizza, her father asked the driver for the receipt. The name on the order was Joel Cabanban—her grandfather’s brother, who had died years earlier. Her father sent the driver back without taking the pizza, but the serendipitous visit has lingered ever since.
